New Jersey’s High Bush Blueberries

These tasty High Bush Blueberries were a staple to the Native Americans who populated the region around New Jersey for centuries. They’re also teeming with 32% of your daily Vitamin K – plus, an ample supply of manganese, Vitamin C and copper. Additionally, just one cup provides 14% of your daily fiber. Besides being delicious, High Bush Blueberries are loaded with anthocyanins – the antioxidant that gives them their deep color – that help support the immune system, improve cardiovascular health and boost brain function. Anthocyanins also help prevent cancer. Delectable just raw, try this simple – yet healthy – dessert.
